Musical Musings: It's been a real challenge, though I think doing the musical at SCS is all about balance. I think a challenge is good every once and awhile.

JOSEPH Enlightenment: I'm a fan of music-specific rehearsals. I feel like music has a way of connecting people. It involves listening to the crowd, listening to your people, and listening to your brain; three skills I think are pretty important and I will take with me in the long run.

Future Aspirations: Undecided: Pepperdine University, Baylor University, or Liberty University, Criminal/Forensic Psychology, Criminal Profiler for the FBI.

Musical Musings: The welcoming nature and encouragement from everyone to join although I was involved in other things, it still all worked out.

JOSEPH Enlightenment: At first it seems like a lot and I honestly was not prepared going into tech week, but as it got closer to the show, it felt more natural; in the end all the hard work will pay off.

Future Aspirations: Texas Tech University, Kinesiology, Physical Therapist

Musical Musings: My favorite moment of this musical was the long music rehearsal we would have with Mrs. Carroll, trying to figure out what notes we had to sing. Those were perfect times that we grew together as a cast and bonded over this story together!!

JOSEPH Enlightenment: One thing I’ve learned through this process is that we are performing this as one company; showing kindness and aid to everyone is what helped keep us in check as we went through the process.

Future Aspirations: Samford University, Business with a Minor in Christian Ministry. I plan to eventually work in the government or in law.

Musical Musings: Getting to meet and hang out with people from all over the school that I usually wouldn’t see or talk to.

JOSEPH Enlightenment: I learned that the musical only works when everyone commits fully, not just the leads and more experienced people, and that’s taught me the value of supporting others.

Future Aspirations: Undecided on college but planning to major in Health Sciences and become a Physical Therapist.

Musical Musings: Getting to watch my best friend and my little brother dance together. Go Gaby and Brody; love you two forever!

Musical Musings: My favorite moment of this musical has been building relationships with various age groups of people and seeing God’s light shine through each of them. Things like watching reels with Joah and Ben, or laughing with Laurie backstage, have given me an opportunity to enhance my senior year experience;  I’m so happy I’ve been able to experience it!

JOSEPH Enlightenment: I’ve learned about all the pieces that come together to make something beautiful. Whether it’s through costume design, the orchestra or the set pieces, I’ve seen the importance of realizing that art isn’t just in the people on stage but the behind-the-scenes people as well.

Future Aspirations: Texas A&M or Baylor University, Public Health, Practicing Physician
